...Even though I don't usually do it until close to the last minute, unless it's my Intro to C++ homework. Some of those problems are bitches and take over an hour each to do, so I don't risk putting those off.

I learned it the hard way last semester when my house almost completely burned down. I was spending so much time trying to get things fixed up at home that I didn't have time to do most of my work. I ended up dropping my C++ course (retaking it now), got a D in my engineering calc class and in chemistry, and the only class I got an A in was my intergrated arts class, where we mostly just watched old movies and were tested on how they were filmed, how the soundtrack ties in, what editing techniques were used, etc...
