I got this from my friend's weblog. I don't know what to say about this but I thought it was quite "interesting". Check out the comments at the bottom of the page (http://www.photo.net/photodb/presentation.tcl?presentation_id=246277)...

So, people thought the bird was expressing human emotion, but soon learn it was just trying to get in a good fuck with a corpse.

The photographer took a series of photographs and then overlaid an emotional story of his own making on them. It does not matter if it was avian necrophilia or anthropomorphization just like it doesn't matter that the viking god on stage is really a fat lady in costume with ropes attached to her back. The story was moving and well done.

I'm with this guy. What's important is the story.

The term 'human emotions' make little sense to me. Animals do have the same emotions as humans, mammals are certainly proved to have emotions. Necrophilia happens with humans too, the difference being that a bird is likely to perform it because it doesn't know any better and it's the human who would be after 'a good fuck'.
