Anyway, I'm really looking forward to Episode III. Yes, I know it won't be as good as the original trilogy (nothing ever could be), but this episode is supposed to be the darkest of all 6. Hopfully it will be cool, but I'm probably getting my hopes up just a little too high. I read how Amidala dies...I thought it was kind of lame. And how can Leia remember her mother at that age. She was, what, 3 minutes old when she dies? Why couldn't Luke remember? I donno.

Attack of the Clones. I'm gonna be a dumbass and go on the first day. I'll probibly end up standing in line for 6 hours like I did for Ep I.

There were guys on the sidewalk dressed like Maul and Obi Wan having a lightsaber fight. It's was neat.

My prognosis so far is cautious, but it looks better than the last 2 movies (plus it appears that Jar Jar will not be in it very much), plus seeing Episode 3 might make the other two look better, or something.

The thing about Episode III is that it's wedged into this tight corner, between an extremely shitty film and an extremely good one.

Well, hopefully this is it for Star Wars. George had better not sell out and make midquels or something. I can see the headlines:

I hear that Jar Jar is killed. Part of the Jedi slaughter (wrong place at the wrong time) or something happens in the senate and he ends up getting killed. Either way, I don't care.

But honostly, I do want to see him die, but die with dignity. His character was just so lame in the past two films, but you can't blame that on Jar Jar. I blame Lucas for shitty writing. So I would like to see Jar Jar get it in the end, but you know, take some bad guys out or jump in the way of blast to save someone. Something like that.

...aww. I wanted to see Degobah! Damnit. I thought that Yoda, Obi-Wan, and baby Luke were going to run off to Degobah and from there Obi-Wan and Luke head off to Tattoine; explaining why in Empire Strikes Back Luke says, "...still, there's something familar about this place. I feel like..."

I would LOVE to see a Jedi Rave. I would sooooooo be there.

That was never the plan anyways. Lucas says that "Luke has experienced Degobah vicariously through Yoda and the force" or something. I don't see <i>why</i> when the ending you mentioned could be so easily achieved.

I'm tired of his latest movies carpet-munching their way into popular hype. We all loved the first 3 movies, why can't he do something cool through out the ENTIRE movie and not just spank us with good battle sequence graphics.
