I woulda seen it as a comment on playing with genetics... the term cow-boy comes to mind for me O.O it's neat whatever it is. I'm sure I've seen it before.

It's a reference to that episode of Full metal Alchemist where that guy done made a Griffin out of his daughter and his dog.
