by the way, would any of you fine people happen to have A Tale of Two Cities handy? I need a page number to site a quote for an essay.

blergh! I just need a page number and sparknotes doesn't give them. it just has the chapters. I have a quote from book II, chapter 5 where Stryver calls Sydney "Memory" and I need to site it.

there are many many different published copies of that book. you'd have to find somebody with the same kind to get the right page number.

yeah, i liked the book, but i couldn't fucking stand lucy.

Can you just do an annotated bibliography and get out of doing the page numbers, or does your teacher specifically want parenthetical citation.

You could try googling the quote and see if anybody else has cited a page number next to it. *shrug*

we don't need a biblography since we're only using the book as our source so we have to site the quotes within the paragraphs.
