I need some advice. I just pierced my upper earlobe (This would be the fourth I've done by myself) and it seems to be inflamed. I did it with a.. well, a sewing neddle. I sort of dipped it in rubbing alcohol but not a lot else.

Haha, I know. Pretty silly, uh? Well, it really hurts, and I just want to know about bringing down the swelling and taking the red awaaayyy.

I'd try icing it for a while, and if that doesn't bring down the swelling I'd go ask someone at a piercing parlor what to do.
Have you used that same type of piercing before? It could also be an allergic reaction to the metal type.

haha, oh shit that's bad. anyway, about Vile's predicament... put some ice on it to reduce the swelling and try rubbing some neosporin around it to clean it or something. if worse comes to worse, I would just let it close. who needs all those piercings anyway?

try some bactine a few times a day and ice. also try and switch to a hoop style earing it will help move the bactine through the piercing, take care of the infection now and for gods sake next time you want another hole in your head go to a proffesional it may cost a bit at the time but its better than the pain of a serious infection.

you gotta be careful with putting extra holes in your head. i know you didnt pierce there, but a seriously bad rampaging infection in the upper area of the ear where all the cartilidge is can go to your brain and kill ya and well ya dont want that it would kinda ruin a persons whole day.

i had an abscess on my left earlobe that swelled up a little bigger than a grape
went ot the doctor's last week and they cut that shit open and all sorts of pus and blood oozed out

even the doctor and male nurse were surprised at all the shit that poured out

and um. take a cotton pad soaked in peroxide and kinda squish it over the piercing. s'what i did when one of my got evil. :0 then it got better quick! yey!
