I've been trying to find a copy of the DVD set that will actually play in my region. I have a region free player, but it's the crankiest piece of shit in the world and it'd be kind of a waste for me to shell out for an import that I'll never get to watch. :(

What brand of Region Free DVD player you got? I have a JVC and it has been nothing but awesome. Granted Ive only watched two imports from Japan and my copy of Run Lola Run on it, but no problems with those.

Buy a LiteOn DVD recorder and use the firmware hack from this (http://www.digitalfaq.com/dvdguides/buyerguides/dvdrecorders/liteontips.htm) page to eliminate the region limitation.
