So, I'm about to bake a fucking delicious blackberry cheesecake. I think now is the time for everybody to share their favorite recipes for comfort food.

I would say that blackberry pie is better than cheesecake.
Cheesecake is a poor excuse for a cake. Almost any other kind of cake is better.

Welsh Rarebits
1 tbsp flour
2 tbsp butter
1 cup cheddar cheese
milk
1 or 2 capfuls cheap-assed cooking sherry
Melt butter in small saucepan, until it starts to bubble a little. In small increments, add the flour to the hot butter and mix with a whisk to form a paste-like consistency. Allow mixture to brown (should only take a few seconds, so watch out that you don't burn it), and begin adding milk in small amounts, whisking to avoid lumps. Once all the milk is added, melt in cheese and add sherry. Allow to simmer for a few minutes, and add any additional seasonings (I like a little ground mustard and cayenne pepper in mine). Serve over toasted english muffins.

My favorite burgers come from A&W, but that's neither here nor there. I mainly wanted to comment on how Waffle Houses seem exclusive to the midwest, all the while avoiding getting sucked into a pokemon chat before I was able to do so. Oh. Well... the desert is big enough to hide Area 51, so maybe they did manage to sneak a few Waffle Houses out there. But the majority of what I've seen of the west is either flickering neon lights or towns with populations hardly penetrating the double digits, where people have old tabloids from the early 1980's just lying around. Also I saw a wild bull. It was neat.

The DS is huge. I prefer playing the gameboy SP. I can play the only game I own on it. tetris.
I want tetris, but not for 17 bucks. I mean DAY-AM. Part of the reason I want a DS is so I can play all my GBA games on a backlit screen and not feel like I was raped by having to buy the same system twice. Also... SONIC RUSH.
Umm.... MINI WHEATS. Pretty shitty cereal, but a decent snack indeed!

What about egg rolls?I thought so too, but there just haven't been any games out for it that I care about. I haven't bought a DS either, but I'm certainly more interested in it than the PSP at this point. It's the whole idea of the "touchscreen" gimmick that's keeping me away. Games were meant to be played with BUTTONS, damnit! But even so, the idea of being able to play Super Mario 64 wherever I go is tempting.
Also, I think the original GBA is much better than the SP, with the exception of the missing backlight. It just molds to your hands in a way that the cold, blocky SP doesn't.

Damn! Why didn't ya send it to me?! I DISTINCLY remember leaing an SP at a public garden on the other end of he continent like a wekk ago.
*sigh* Nay, some clumsy dumbass out there will be ecstatic at their good fortune at having been reunited with their material goods due to the realtively rare honesty of strangers. Being the victim of an iPod that liked it's position on a bus seat way too much, I can sympathize with such an individual.
Also, I think the original GBA is much better than the SP, with the exception of the missing backlight. It just molds to your hands in a way that the cold, blocky SP doesn't.
Yeah, the shape's a bit better, but still. The light thing really gets to me. I can't see a damn THING unless I'm under a 10,000 watt light or have found myself situated in an abundant source of natural light. And frankly, the odds are better that I will find a 10,000 watt lightbulb lying aroud.
