this started about a month ago. i was at the adult swim boards posting while listening to adult swim. i'd turn around to watch a minute, then turn back around to post... there'd be stuff i didn't remember typing in my post. just like an extra the or something. i just figured i was tired. it kept happening though... i figured i was really tired. then weird shit like "The woman who" and "You're going to be the voice of" started appearing at random spots in my posts, and i started getting a little worried... so i went to bed. the next morning i came here and was about to post something, but then got up to let the dogs out. i came back, sat down, and saw it happen. little underlined dots would appear at where i left off, then they'd turn into words. it stopped later that day though, so i didn't really worry about it. it started up again a couple days ago though and is happening more often. before it was like it'd only happen if i left the computer idle for a couple minutes, now it just appears... whenever. i copied and saved in a text file some of the shit it's been saying -- "Stay really well below is a new" "C. three N. O. one side and the other new ones they are so more" "that the black bar at the bar that the bar at the back of the black" (at this point i decided my computer's completely retarded) "The goal of" "
The bar at the bar that by the" "you will see only U.S. soil to look over here a little easier now that the background noise of that the route that are at the back of the the back of the deal was going to lose that the the the the the the" and "background and the or will the bar or back the bar at the bar the"

i managed to get a screencap of this... whatever it is.

so... anyone have any idea what the fuck's going on?

That actually sound like a really common virus that I can't remember the name of. Sliver something? Anyway, run your virus scanner.

Unless of course you have an upper-tier virus that stops your anti-virus scan.

Actually, yes. That would be the proper way to do it. Run whatever scanning software you have in safe mode.

God, it's been forever since I've had Windows. You poor people.

Try updating before you run it. Also, try this (http://housecall.trendmicro.com/). Ive never used it, but I hear its dependable and it never hurts to use a Virus Scan that you know cant be affected by the virus on your machine.
