Yeah, I've seen it. All the Gen-Xers are feeling old, so they buy this retro crap to relieve thier teenage years and come up with new ways to stay young like catchy phrases such as "40 is the new 30!"
Young forever. These people are becoming as bad as the baby boomers. Oh wait, they are spoiled buy thier boomer parents. Ah.

I wish that comercial didn't interupt my daily CSI and be like, 10 minutes long.
I have no idea who half those singers are.

god, the best thing about 80s power ballads is realizing how stupid they'd sound with just like a slower, mellower acoustic accompianment and shitty emoish vocals. for example, White Snake:
here i go again on my own
going down the only road i've ever known
like a drifter i was born to walk alone
etc etc

The thing is, there was no pretense of artisticness with those butt-rock bands from the '80s. It was all "I am wearing tight pants and there are explosions in my video."

Whitesnakes just a bunch of pussies though.
Oh come on, like we can't all enjoy some weirdo crooning "IT'S THE FIIIIINAL COUUUUUNTDOOOWN!" again and again?
Of course, I actually enjoy 80's singstar. So sue me.
