Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

After a couple of years of waiting I finally got my hands on a copy. It was incredible and I thought it lived up to the hype, I was wondering what others thought.

Im surprised... but I actually prefer the japanese voices. They just sounded better.

I saw this movie yesterday at a friends house.
Excluding the animation, I didn't perticularly enjoy it. Just didn't keep my attention.

My friends made me watch it with them because "omfg FF is lyke their reason for lyfe!" I didn't like it very much. It's probibly because I'm the only person on earth that doesn't know who clowd is.

I didn't untill like last summer.
I honestly have no clue what happened in the movie though. I remember people attacking eachother with swords and someone dying or something. Along with some dude with purple hair that had an odd obsession with his mother.
It seemed kinda cheesy.

i saw it fo' free last year.
didn't really care for it much. the wind was CONSTANTLY blowing. and as i wasn't completely and totally devoted to knowing every aspect of the story beforehand, everything was pretty much lost on me.

dude's classic game ringtone was cute though.

plus they seem to have stolen a scene from one piece, which made me laugh to NO end. : D

I haven't seen it a-t'all. But I might, someday. My movie budget was entirely b;lown on Silent Hill.

DEADISH: Was it the scene from sanji's first episode where Zoro's old partners are cured of scurvy and start prancing about the deck? Cause THAT would be a great and entirely relevant scene for this movie.

I watched it forever ago. Most of the things I watch now are subtitled anyway. The only thing that I was confused about what who the hell Shion was but I got that sorted out. Anyway it was an all right movie, I watched it more for the graphics and the music then anything. I'm still pissed about Rufus though. I mean you can't bring a guy back when they died the_coolest_death_ever. I mean who the hell thought that one up.

but no, it was from the alabastard arc.. which hasn't been dubbed yet because 4kids figured out that everyone thought they suck and took a break so you prolly haven't seen ... BUT ANYWAY
there's a drawn-out scene where the crew has to get princess useless to the top of a belltower to stop a ginormous bomb by boosting her up in ridiculous ways using their immense retardpirate powers and weapons.. and the same exact thing happened in advent children, only .. with FF characters. : D

i liked the fight between cloud and sephiroth, but otherwise i was generally unmoved by it--i guess ffvii never really bedazzled me. maybe i need to play it, i haven't in like 8 years. i was upset that reno died, he was probably my favorite character. him and rude (the black guy) were awesome--the shinra characters were probably the best in the movie.
