i don't feel like changing names, you don't know them anyway. so these chicks krista and megan rip up bri's art portfolio. bri spray painted "DIE" on krista's garage door. she was going to spray paint it on the new car krista's dad bought for her, but the car was in the garage, so she settled for the garage door. the other megan filmed it. the other megan then stole one of those drums off the road and took it to her boyfriend's house, which was also filmed. krista took a permanent marker and wrote bri's name under "DIE", like a signature, hoping she could pin it on her since at this point there wasn't any proof bri did it. bri took the tape to her boyfriend jack's house (he once dated krista, but broke up with her because he got bored listening to her lie about her "stepdad raping her" every other day, note that she doesn't even have a stepdad) to show him. jack's parents found it. they called the cops. the other megan wrote a statement and all that stuff, but doesn't even have to do community service since she was upfront and honest about it. bri tried to turn herself in, but for some reason the cops refuse to take her in because they want to arrest her at school to make an example out of her, on a friday so she has to stay there over the weekend. meanwhile, that whole ripping up her art portfolio thing. the teacher said krista and megan said they were sorry. which apparently makes everything okay. they're in no trouble at all. bri has to redo all of that before the end of the semester, which is in i think less than three weeks, or she fails.

Sucks for her. She shouldn't have tried to go out and take revenge.

There would be fucking MURDERS if that happened to me.

Thankfully, I'm no longer in any kind of environment where people would do that to me, save for a wandering crazy person. High school sucks, what with all the penned up drama llamas.

I would be kind of relieved if someone destroyed my portfolio, then I wouldn't have to worry about going to college.

becuase bri's dating jack. krista kindasorta has a history of not letting go of boyfriends and going a bit too far when it comes to anybody she feels is getting too close, or afterwards, stole him away.

I never experienced anything like this at my school. Was this kind of thing going on all around me and I just never noticed?

...probably.

I can never relate to stories like these. These petty troubles of...people. And it frustrates me because it's things like these that life is all about and I can't even visualise them.

I like this reaction best.

Neither did I ever experience the nonsense of histrionic teenage faux-drama, though my sister bitches about things like that constantly. In the last few years of high school, the vast majority of my time has been spent in what is called a "Life Skills Lab" (i.e.: day-care center for teenagers who can't drive) outside of the handful of classes I still need to fullfill graduation requirements. This is where the lazy kids go when they don't feel like doing homework at home, so aside from the occasional piece of actual schoolwork I do in there, most of the time is spent playing DS games or browsing killsometime.com and it's ilk. The "teacher" (i.e.: baby-sitter) in that room was neat, too. Being in a heavy metal band, he spent a good deal of time listening to people scream their vocal chords into paralysis and putting up with me telling him which PS2 games he should own.

Now, the room across the hall from here was where they kept the emotinally disturbed kids, and occasionally we'd be ushered out of our kickass video game chamber while the [other of the two teachers in our room] made some "phone calls", and let me tell you. THAT room was full of some prime examples of future generations' flotsam. If you went to a public school, odds are there was a room like this. Any time you looked in, you'd be almost certain to see one of the following: 1. A kid screaming and cursing at a teacher; 2. some girl crying about god knows what; 3. one of those kids who is actually in school so rarely you wonder why they even bother showing up at all; you know the type. Some shitty, half-assed dye job, one leg perpetually propped up on something, permanent "cranky douchebag" look on his face, likely wearing absurdly large headphones around his neck like a rejected Jet Set Radio character design. Man, and the emo looking kids. Skin-tight jeans with "deep" lyrics written on them (probably of the Hawthorne Heights variety) long black hair that covers half their face, gender ambiguity the likes of which you usually have to watch imported anime to see, and a habit that I swear to god I thought South Park was exagerrating but WASN'T, where the kid constantly flips his hanging hair out of his face by shaking his head.

The very least I can say about the public education system is, at least it keeps kids like this off the streets.

We had a seperate building for all the kids with real problems and all the fuck-wad, assholes who always got in trouble.

I was too much of a loner in high school. Spent too much time in the library in the computer lab. I knew that school district's network like the back of my hand. It was always fun accessing teacher's private storage space and seeing assignments before they were handed in like weeks in advance. During my senor year, all my teachers were pretty tech savvy and so had thier entire semesters home work and shit all stored on there, including answers sheets to some of the home work and tests.

Lets just say thats the only year of my slacker high school life where I actually had a 4.0 GPA. It raised my overall high school GPA from a 2.3 (or something close to that) to a solid 3.3 (or something close...).

Hahah, oh Ras. You haven't heard my stories about handstabby, have you?

One time in primary school I stabbed my own hand with a really grubby pencil for no particular reason. There was all kinds of pain. I don't suppose that counts, does it?

I remember in my last years of school I was getting so frustrated with the lack of pain in my life I actually tried to turn myself into some weird punk/emo/goth hybrid, messing up my school clothes and planting my boots on bus seats. Everyone else just...sort of...laughed at me. ='(

Being a jerk does not make you cool. Don't do it!

krista has to pay $500 for the art she destroyed.

bri has to pay $200 for spraypainting the door.

haha.
