Okay, my sister's having a problem with her browser, and i really have no idea what to tell her how to fix it. version is 1.5.0.3.

she says, when the browser opens, it's blank, no URL at the top. typing in an address at the top does nothing, as does opening a new tab or window, they still come up blank and don't do anything.

when she clicks a link, it becomes a blank page. nothing loads, top is "untitled".


OS is windows XP.

advice?

Restart. Search for malware.

I know I've had that problem before, but I can't remember what fixed it.

restarted already, she has. i'll tell her to run the ad-aware. or spybot, i forgot which one i put on her comp.

The problem is that she uses Firefox.

Opera is pretty nice, but I still use Firefox from home.

You can always try the Beta of IE which is passable.

Opera is pretty cool. YOU CAN GET WIDGETS.

I still love firefox though... and IE sucks. I've had people opening and closing my disc drives though IE.
