If you have a lot of free time... well, at least some free time, than help me to build a galactic empire, at this adress.

I am waiting for ya.
I'll check it out. I'm not 100% certain my Russian is good enough, but I'll give it a shot.

The only Russian I know is 'Dom Tam'. So, regrettably, I cannot be of assistance in galactic empire-building.

Huh. According to my book it meant 'the house is there'.
Perfect. I officially know no Russian at all and Russian learning books are apparently mock-ups cunningly inserted into schools by the CIA to combat the Red Menace (trademark).

No, you were right. Sometimes the transliteration from Cyrillic to latin is a bit strange.
what you said looks like this when it's printed as it should be:
дом--там
"house/home--there."
I checked it out.
My brain hurts.

Pfft...English as a whole is a really stupid language. It has no intrinsic pattern and there's about two dozen seperate words that mean the same thing for EVERYTHING. It's just a huge mash-up of celtic, latin, german, viking, french and a half-dozen other languages depending on who was ruling us at the time. And the sad thing is that by sheer accident of naval power, industrial development and a lot of peeved off refugees our language has been inflicted on the rest of the world.

You know, except for Fascism and genocide, we'd all be linguistically better off if Germany had won WWII. or even WWI, because then Fascism and genocide isn't really a factor. German's such a great language. It makes so much sense.

In a century's time, Mandarin Chinese will be everyone's second language. You know it makes sense...until the oil runs out. Dammit, that's always getting in the way of my calculations...

German is a terrible language, Koba, evey german says that.

wow, Rasputin, I did not know you have developed yourself up to an existentialist. Existentialism has some smart ideas in it... specially Sartre, not that Camus. But they are too anthropological.

wasn't sartre kind of a huge asshole? also, camus was an absurdist, not an existentialist.

Martin Heidegger for teh win. Even if he was a Nazi for a few years (okay...that is a pretty hefty 'even if').
Also, someone recommended this chappie named Derrida. Haven't read him yet, though.

Heh, Derrida.
My dad used to write articles disproving his theories, which pissed him off immensely.
I've read bits and pieces of his work and he writes stuff about the soul being words and ghosts being sounds and weird shit like that. It's really hard to follow.
