Well, I'll side with Castro because I'm stuck up and like politics, but I'm seeing that the majority of the media coverage is going to Gibson, because he's like a MOVIE STAR, man.
In any event you probably know what happened in both cases....
Gibson was pulled over drunk and proceeded to give an anti-Jewsih rant (and called a female cop "sugartits") and ET et al is lovin' that...
But I think that the Castro bit is a lot more interesting....he was checked into a hospital for intestinal surgery....no big deal, right?....well...couple things...
He "temporarily" handed over power to his brother, and designated successor, Raul, the first time in 47 years Cuba has been ruled by ANYONE other than Fidel.
It's all temporary to be sure, but remember.....ol' Fidel is 80, he's not going to live forever...and his brother is about as uncharismatic as it gets, and image is kind of everything with Castro's pseudo-personality cult in Cuba.
So are there changes ahead for Cuba like big Germany style ones, or will the Communist party there somehow bounce back? Either way, I'll be watching...any input?
Oh, and "Braveheat" kinda sucked, Mel.
