i liked the "i'm not okay" song a lot, and i didn't like the "helena" song at all. i decided to not look any further into it after that because everyone in the world suddenly had an opinion about them, and that makes me really uncomfortable. i hate the fact that i like green day, because now every person in the world has an opinion about them. i hate having to deal with all these opinions, because they mean SO MUCH to some people. if you like green day and your coworker doesn't, your coworker just might think a little less of you. and yeah, it doesn't really matter and you should just write him off as a douche, but that's not easy when you have to deal with the person all the time. i dunno. you can never tell when someone is going to take your opinion on something completely irrelevent to heart.

I dunno. I have no patience for musical snobs. I like what I like. Most of the time it may not even be more than one song from any given artist, but I won't say I'm incapable of liking any of their music, just because I don't enjoy the majority of it.

I really don't care for the band members of metallica. But I still enjoy some of their music. Hating a band solely on principle seems as stupid to me as liking them just because everyone else does

It's something I try and avoid. I will be as amicable as possible with people. But if they're going to base their entire opinion of you on your preference in music, then they really are douche bags. I understand what you're saying; I've worked in situations where people didn't like me. It sucks. But are you really gonna either change yourself or even hide yourself for their sake? It's a cop out, and in the long run it’s just not worth it.

What does though, for some yet unexplained reason, piss me off completely are emo kids. I fucking hate them. I dont get it. junior high was pretty dumb and immiture, and most kids formed little clicks - usually on basis of musical tastes. I didnt fit in to any of these 'clicks' thankfully (my parents rasied me on a very eclectic range of music - but i only really liked the 'grunge' stuff like mother love bone, green river, soundgarden, etc. etc.)
so yeah, i was pretty much forced to judge people off of what music they associated themselves with, because that is how they wanted to be judged. I judged them on their musical prefrences, because that was the only way too judge them. they were so 'into' their music that they made sure it enveloped every part of their life, and that everyone knew that they liked a certain band or genre. maybe I dont like emos, because they haven't seemed to mature out of this junior high philosohpy. I dont fucking care what people listen to, just dont parade it in front of my face with a haughty 'better than thou art' attitude, and i wont have a problem.

KMFDM is mid-level pricewise...I've seen as low as 25 and as high as 100... generally no more than that though. It depends on the seating and all that too.

It's so hard to tell with these silly web ticket sites...for the Fort Worth show in October I've seen as low as 19, and as high as 90...

Well, it's basicly people theorizing on theblackparade.com. It's got something to do with their new album, obviously since it's the name of one of the tracks, and people have been coming up with all kinds of rumors about what it could be. There's been stuff about it being possibly an alter-ego band like Ziggy Stardust, but that's been proven false. Right now they're thinking it's just the first single from the new record, since they started filming a new video yesterday.

And if anyone cares, Gerard and Bob had to goto the hostpital yesterday because they got hurt filming. Bob got 3 degree burns and someone's been saying that Gerard broke his ankle, but it hasn't been proven. But they're out of the hospital now and okay.

Does anyone know what this means? :confused: nobody blames rollercoasters when people are flung out of them across fairgrounds. it's not the rollercoasters fault. a carny must not have harnessed them properly, or they must have loosened their safety equipment. they must have been horsing around. it couldn't have been the machine's fault.

a "ghost in snow" would, presumbly, be impossible to detect, even if the ghost were visible. it would be covered by the snow, and you'd only feel the chill of the snow creeping up on you. becoming perfect, like... ehm... silver chainsaws cascading. you wouldn't notice it. just the chill. the chill would take you over, and you'd grow "cold" (dead) and no one would suspect a thing. no one would would think that "fatality" was out to get you. it would just be your time. it would be innocent. like roller coasters. like ghosts in snow. like lollypops and rock candy. innocent. innocent...
