alright. let's go back in time to the 80's. 1988, specifically.
Shoulder pads were in, michael jackson was on his first nose, and a kid from cuba was tearing up the basepaths in the oakland sun, by the name of jose canseco.

the kid was destined for the hall of fame. 23, and a bright future.
then a bunch of stuff happened that i either don't remeber or have time to type. drugs. fast cars. fast women. fast food.

1993. after getting boinked on the head by a fly ball that goes over the fence for a homerun (and makes every sportcentury "highlight bloopers" top 10 list), he decides to try pitching in a blowout, and promptly blows out his arm.

the 21st century. now, with the steroid thing making news, canseco, having recently retired, publishes a book admitting he took sterioids himself and fingering certain players, leading the entire industry to be pissed off at him.
