Didn't they used to start every show with a mash-up of scenes from current summer movies? I remember they did it with The Mummy Returns, Batman Begins, Episode 1 and Spider-Man.

well its still supposed to be dark, but it would seem they removed the super villain aspect of it. I guess its harder to have a movie anti hero go around raping and murdering people.
