Seems all right to me. But the only thing I look for in digital cameras is a manual setting so I can adjust the aperture and shutter myself. One day I'll get a dSLR and I'll shit my pants.

i know nothing about cameras, but here's what i have:

it's much more than i need, and the bigger size makes it a little inconvenient. but it takes really nice pics. i'd rather have more than i need than less, but the thing is that it wasn't cheap, and i end up being hesitant to take it out sometimes because it might get ruined (like on the beach or at a recent animal safari place i went to). so i got a super cheap digital camera that's small and stuff for times like that, but it's a complete POS and after using it like twice, it no longer turns on. so i can definitely say do NOT get a Kodak Easy Share. i guess it's a common problem with them, so i have no idea why they continue to make them.

Huh, mine's an EasyShare and it's held up pretty well (minus the one time I dropped it, that was my own dumbass fault). What model number was yours? Mine's a Z740.

oh, i have the C813. i guess there are a decent number of ok reviews, but there are also a lot of people who say theirs locked up and won't turn on (like mine). so maybe it's hit or miss. still, i can't recommend it since mine is no longer usable. and i've had it less than a year, but i doubt if i kept the receipt :(

I got that canon, it's here. It doesn't have a viewfinder so it's a little weird, but it takes AA's so that's a plus. I was looking at a sony but it only took the manufacturer's battery, which I don't like.

Those are really nice photos. What kind of duck is that in the fourth picture? It's kind of freaky looking.
