but i got an interview at some place in the pearl district on monday. fyi the pearl district used to be some shitty warehouse area in the NW corner of downtown and then it turned into a "model of civic renewal" IE a bunch of yuppies, boring boutiques and expensive new condos live there now. even the transplant hipsters/scene kids hate it. whatever man i got no shame. i need a job


oh yeah so I was working cash with my homes Philipe and his wife and kid come through, he buys his kid a side of rice with his 50% discount, three weeks later a higher-up chipotle manager audits us and we're both fired. apparently he's the only one allowed to eat something he used his discount on, not his little four year-old. neither of us knew this because our managers are too busy stabbing each other in the back/rim jobs to pay attention to such trivial matters. $.65 worth of rice is more important than having two people who had been with that shitbox for upwards of two years and knew how to do everything/had a good rapport with the customers.
