if one of you artist types could find it in your heart and schedule to draw a new one, that'd be amazing. also i'd put it on my desk at work. next to the crocodyke.

I feel I stirred this up somehow asking about Claire's old portrait. (Sorry.) My ideal nominations would've went to Rachel, or either of the Erins. Buuuuut, since none of them post on a consistent enough basis (MidErin, especially ... unfortunately [:(]), I nominate Takker. Not counting her signature pics or her random doodles, Takker's got a unique style that I rather enjoy. Her skills suggest to me that her work on people - being as a person, or a narwhal - would do well and compliment the ever-changing face of the board.

My second choice is Ian, but I can't talk him up as much as I do Takker, so she shall remain my first.

Will this mean we're gonna have to post current pictures of ourselves if this goes down? I realize this is nessicary[sp?] 'n all, but ... ... I still don't want to.

Here's a thought: Why can't we combine the talents of both Takker and Ian? Takker can do character design and/or placement; Ian can do backgrounds and anysuch borders that may occur. I don't know how the layering would work, infact I base this suggestion on nothing of anyone's skill. This is why random suggestions are made: Either instant approval or disapproval.
