8. What piece of technology has the greatest impact on your life? For me, the transistor. Even though I'm a mechanical engineer, all my design tools (CAD, CAM, and FEA programs) run on computors. I use my graphing calculator in all the calculations I do. My car and motorcycle both have comutor controlled fuel injection. My iPod. Too many other things to list.
